Alan Caffrey is a retired non-executive Director for IPF, with over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. A longstanding member of the Life Insurance Association (LIA), Alan’s career spans a range of roles, with notable contributions to the sector.

He spent 21 years with Irish Life as a Brokerage Inspector, before moving on to Insure.ie (Mike Murphy Insurance), where he served as Life & Pensions Manager for 9 years. Alan concluded his career at Irish Pensions & Finance in December 2021, after an impactful 8-year tenure as Regional Manager.

Throughout his career, Alan’s guiding principle was to deliver top-class service to clients and ensure the highest standards were maintained in all aspects of his work.
