Having previously worked as a sales manager in Canada Life, Owen went into brokerage in 1993 and set up Irish Pensions and Finance with David Dunleavy in 1995. When David retired in 2014, Owen entered partnership with Claire Hanrahan, who took over as CEO in 2022.

He has over forty years experience in the Financial Services industry.
